My digital paintings spring forth from an extensive background in classical
fine art media. Contemporary, and yet intensely romantic, they explore the
spirit path through the sensual self. Images of earth's beings; people,
animals and nature, collect in my minds eye and are mixed with feelings and
moods. Before embarking on a work, I put aside the mental so that I may
create what I feel. Joy, contemplation, sexuality and playfulness are some
of the emotions reflected in the shapes, colors and textures that I choose.
My desire as an artist is to excite the imagination of my audience and
inspire a soulful yet passionate vision of the natural world.
